Q. Your ingredient list seems like it is missing something?

A. The ingredient list is correct. We us a small number of recognizable ingredients because our philosophy is that only ingredients that are actually good for your skin should go into the product.

Q. The cream leaves me feeling greasy, is that normal?

A. Our creams are VERY concentrated. The products have no fillers or binders so they are very concentrated. Every ingredient has a beneficial effect on the skin. We find that many times when someone finds the creams greasy, it may be due to over application. We recommend you start out using a tiny amount and then increase from there. The more you apply, the longer it will take to absorb. A little goes a long way with our creams.

Q. My cream appears to have oil separating in it?

A. There may be some separation in the Rejuvenating Face & Eye Creams and the Body Creams from time to time because no emulsifiers or stabilizers are used. If separation occurs, stir the product with a tiny spatula or coffee stirrer or simply shake the jar.

Q. How should I apply the cream?

A. It is best to either use an applicator or clean hands when getting product from the jar. This will keep the product in a fresh condition longer.

Q. What is the difference between the Rejuvenating Face and Eye Cream the Night Cream and the Body Cream?

A. All of the creams have the same base of Purified Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Hawaiian Beeswax with Pollen & Propolis, and Raw Honey.

The main differences between the creams is the mix ratio of the above ingredients, the different essential oils and the different application uses on the body.

For instance, the Night Cream will have more beeswax which will make it a thicker cream, because it should be applied to the face at night and will have good staying power.  The Night Cream’s essential oils are Geranium and Lemon which should be a soothing combination that should go hand in hand with bedtime.

For the Body Cream, the consistency is slightly thicker than the Rejuvenating Cream, but much less thick than the Night and comes in a larger container because it is meant for use on the entire body. The essential oils that are in the Body cream are Patchouli, Clove, Fir Balsom Needle, Lavender and Peppermint so it provides a pleasant “spicy” aroma.

Q. I know the Face and Eye Cream and Night Cream work for hydration, fine lines and wrinkles, does it also help preventing sagging skin and does it help with slight puffiness or dark circles under the eyes?

A. Yes the Face and Eye Cream and Night Cream hydrate, help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and help with sagging skin and discoloration.

Q. What is it specifically in these products that helps or prevent the above issues?

A. The ingredients that promote a more youthful skin are Beeswax (contains wax esters identical to those found in your skin), Raw Honey (containing over 300 micro-nutrients responsible for collagen stimulation and cell regeneration), Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (with a profile of amino acids that resemble your skin’s profile, supplying nourishment and building materials for your dermis).

Q. What is the difference between the Face and Eye Serum vs the Face and Eye Cream or Night Cream?

A. The Serum has the same properties as the Face and Eye Cream or Night Cream, the difference is it’s use of a blend of oils that increase it’s ability for deep penetration and nutrition providing the delivery of nutrients to the deeper tissues of the skin.

Q. What is the difference between your Facial Cleanser and Makeup Remover and your Foaming Facial Wash?

A. The Facial Cleanser and makeup remover is an oil based product. While it is a wonderful product and works extremely well some people just do not prefer the oil based cleanser or like the feeling that an oil based cleanser gives them. Additionally the Facial Cleanser and Makeup Remover is meant to be a deep penetrating Facial Cleanser that will cleanse your face at bed time and before applying other moisturizing products such as our Face and Eye Serum or One of the BeeFriendly Creams. The Foaming Facial Wash on the other hand will not dry out your face, but it will not leave an oil residue and will leave your face feeling deeply cleansed and ready for anything. The Foaming Facial Cleanser is much better for those with acne prone skin or blemishes and works to brighten your face and aids in reducing discoloration. While some people use one or the other, many of our customers do use both products. We recommend using the Foaming Facial Washing in the morning at during the day and using the Facial Cleanser and makeup Remover for night use before bed and moisturizer application. Whether you use both or one of them you cant go wrong.

Q. What is the life expectancy of the Exfoliating Facial Scrub?

A. The shelf life of our Exfoliating Facial Scrub is approximately 24 months. Once opened, we recommend that the product be used within 12 months if possible for best possible effect. The scrubs length of life after being opened can vary depending on how the product is handled and stored.

Q. My Exfoliating Facial Scrub seems to have hardened in the jar?

A. This is normal, as the organic coconut oil is susceptible to temperature changes and may harden some. What you do in this case is scoop some out of the jar and you can add a couple drops of water to the scrub while its in your hand to soften it up. Do not add water to the jar itself, only add water to the amount you have taken out to use. If you add water to the jar you risk having the sugar dissolve in the jar and you will ruin the whole contents of the jar.
